Sunday. Up we get this morning for "Trish's Mystery Tour" although I must say after learning the reputation my beautiful cousin has for getting lost I have to admit Steve & I were both a little nervous !!! I guess that the good thing about mystery tours it really doesn't matter what your final destination is, it is supposed to be a surprise ! AND I have to report that Trish new exactly where she was going and how to get there and not a single wrong turn !!!! I just don't know what they're all talking about Trish. The drive was gorgeous, through the tree canopies, Matlock Bath and Matlock, we love this stuff !
And what was our final destination "Chatsworth House". So magnificent ! It just took our breath away. It surely was a time of opulence, but also of great beauty. It seemed like every room we went into was more stunning than the last.
Then it was off to Raj and Helen's for dinner, good food, good drink and great company. We haven't laughed so much for ages, thank you so much, and thanks to Abigail and Jess for reminding us of the games we can teach our Zoey when she gets a bit bigger !
All in all we had an absolute blast in Derby, special time, special people xx
Tomorrow it's up early & off we go to Wokingham to catch up with Steve's family.
